Technology
Measurement
A replaceable weighing sensor measures to the gram and transmits every reading to the app in real time. The LED ring shows the device state directly on the scale.
Plausibility checks
The firmware compensates for condensation on the weighing surface, detects double placements and implausible readings, and switches the scale off automatically when idle.
Connectivity
BLE by default; a WLAN mode connects the scale to the local network, where the app finds it automatically. Several scales and several smartphones stay in sync.
Power
A replaceable 18650 lithium-ion cell runs for about 15 hours. Ten minutes on any 5 V USB-C charger add roughly one hour of runtime.
Firmware & app
Over-the-air updates via BLE (10–20 minutes) or WLAN (about one minute). The companion app for iOS and Android shows live readings, keeps statistics and is available in 12 languages.
Repair & sustainability
Battery, weighing sensor and cover can be replaced. Production runs on CO₂e-neutral electricity, packaging is recycled cardboard without plastics.
Inside
The cover lifts off the circuit board. The 18650 cell sits in a standard holder and can be replaced without tools or soldering – as can the weighing sensor and the cover.
